When it comes to the Ukraine war no one is making the world a better place. All parties act in their own self interest and continue to do the easiest thing, rather than the right thing.
Putin continues the war rather than admit he can‘t win and made a massive mistake invading.
Trump just want to glorify himself by getting peace quickly on any terms and a Nobel prize from himself.
The Europeans are happy for Ukraine to continue the war, as it keeps Russia from attacking them, which would be more expensive to deal with.
The Russian people do nothing to stop the war, though they know the war is wrong.
China does nothing, as it is profiting from cheap Russia products. India similar.
So the Ukrainian people will have to endure, hold fast and hope for some thing to change. Everyone knows they cannot be defeated, but they need all the help we can give them.
The right thing to do is for Putin to stop the war, and everyone else to ramp up the pressure on him economically, militarily and diplomatically. This will make the world a better place.
